I am not a kayaker, I am a fisherman,  I use a kayak purely as a means to catch MORE fish! I would be just as happy in a bathtub with an outboard strapped to the back, (ok, I'm lying about the last bit)

I am going to have to agree with the get the best boat for you attitude. I think I will also call the hobie or other SOT I get a Kayak - they are simply an evolution. Ships used to be made of wood... At any rate I am hating the winter and dreaming of the summer!

I like these photos of your rigs anyone else have a pic handy? or is there another thread I should be looking at.
