i am not real handy but going to give it a try
i have a fish finder that i want to add to the fog machine ( fog = Fat Old Guy )
i also want to add three more rod holders
now finding scotty stuff around here is hard and i want to use scotty cuz they canucks too
now any tips here would be good i carry between 5 -8 rods when i go bassin
so i have the one in the front center i have the two that came with the kayak
and i have two that are part of the stabilizers so that's 4 right behind my seat
so now where do i put the others where i can reach them

i am debating moving the stabilizers further back and then adding a couple of triples behind the seat
any advice would be great

and i want to get a trolling motor but for that i think i will be finding someone
to do it for me lol

Keep the seat in the low position til you get the hang of your yak. These "get wet" escapades sound like a lot of laughs til one goes sideways on you. Please be careful.

Lol there is so much you can do ..
Take your time  check out other  kayaks and then what you see and like do that to your Yak...
I just add a drybox/cooler with 4 rod holder on it
