Trolling motor kill switch
« on: April 10, 2016, 08:15:12 pm »
Does anyone know what type of kill switch I need to connect directly between Battery and trolling motor?
I have this one on hand but it isn't the right type.  If you remove the clip the circuit is close.  Opposite of what I need. :)

You would want a normally closed switch.
Cheap and easy to find check princess auto etc.
Make sure it has the correct rating 12v 10+ amp etc.
Make sure it goes after a incline fuse

This is the one you want. You can wire it open or closed.
