High winds kept me off the water too, last weekend, finally got out and had
a really decent fish this Saturday and thksgvn Monday.
The shield lakes I'm bass fishing ever have a lot of shad this year, huge bait balls !
Bite has been a bit slower, figure harder to get a smallie to hit your lure with
all this bait around. Still haven't broke 20" this year for a smallie, had 3-5 over last year.

That's a big one Tim got... good ole 21" another tie for kw, lol.

Go get em boys.  :)

Did Big Bass Mega Bucks out of Rideau Ferry on Big Rideau Saturday in the SNOW !
This is at the start, before blast off, a pic of my team mate  Yakster JP ( his power boat ).

A bit annoying, didn't get a cheque again and a lot of cheques went to 3 + lbers, and I caught 3 over 4lbs a week earlier out of my yak. We caught lots, but just a couple just over 3lbs, course lost a big one  boat side. Know I should try to do that event out of my kayak, but conditions were brutal !

Got out again in the snow and wind in my yak Sunday afternoon.

This girl no good to me .  ;)

Better weather ahead, 2 more Saturdays, good luck all.

Hey you Windsor lads .
Did you see Major League Fishing over the weekend ?
They were fishing Hubbard lake in Michigan.
Brent Ehrler set a new one day total weight record of over 60 lbs in round two.
Tim Horton won round 1 with a bunch of giant smallies.
Lots of big smallies in that lake !

Hubbard is a very good rated lake...I'm fishing a tourney on Oct 31 in Gun lake which is rated the top inland walleye lake in Michigan...it's a bass, pike panfish tourney..best 2 fish in each category added together for the win...should be fun..Hoping to tag a couple big smallies for the last day of fishing for me in 2015!!

Somebody just broke a 100 year old Michigan State Record on Hubbard lake yesterday.  A 24" Bass weighing (certified) just over 9.3 lbs.
