Kayak Man Gold Points Race
« on: July 07, 2015, 04:20:15 pm »
You're giving er shooter !
Currently in first for the gold points.
Noticed you got a slam during the BCC, you figured a slam was more important
than concentrating on bass at that time.  :o

Danny currently in 9th and yours truly in 16th.

A lot of work for a paddle ( 1st place prize last year ).

The Outback was a draw prize.

( No loot here yet either, and need a new shirt .  :) )

Well done Shooter.
I think you'd be ahead of Dan, EEF if he properly identified all his white bass under 12" properly instead of white perch...

3 Canadians in the top 10 now.
Guess who's in 10 th ?   ;)
Close race with only 9 points separating 3rd to 10 th.

A note about slams, 3 species in one day is 2 points, 4 species is 4 points, 5 species is 6 points.
That's what I've noticed happening this year anyhow.
I haven't done 6 species in one day, guess that would be 8 points, maybe shooter knows ?

That is pretty ridiculous if true, really caters to some people based on location. Slams should only be 1 point imo. The way it is now it is too easy for guys to run away with things just because they live on a multi species bodies of water.

At least this last weekend I got 10 GMP if my records hold up.

Keep climbing the ladder boys. Nice to see 3 in top ten considering southern boys clearly have the advantage. Lets take the top 3

Only 85 points out of 3rd freshwater standings now. Most teams seem to be slowing down now, might be able to get 2nd if we keep up our pace. Shooter way ahead in gold man points right now, not sure how you are able to get out fishing every day. I have been working 12-13 hr days this week so will be weekends only for me...

Good job guys,

With Oz being completely MIA, prizes from last year non-existant, and all promised updates and whatnot that were supposed to happen over the summer never happening, I've basically given up on Kayak Wars.   Its just not in me to support something that the organizer has apparently abandonded.    I'm not even taking pics of the KW-submittable fish anymore.
