Hey Red Rocket,
Don't think any Ottawa lads are making it.
Heck, I'm the only one who has, and think Doug hasn't even gotten out yet in his new Hobie.
Enjoy the festival, the weather looking a bit off, so more time for lounging and sipping wine ?

Any updates ?

Any thoughts or side bets for us that are not going ?

It's the 5th running of this event.
Think Jeff Goudreau started it and Richard took over since 2013 ?

By the way anyone heard from or seen Jeff G. or 12footer Russ ??

Figure there's a %50 chance Kyle M. will win again but would bet he doesn't.  :)

Jeff G. is picking mushrooms and being chased by bears at the moment. He's in his element.

As for bets, I hear the weather will be the giant elephant in the room this year. I suspect an unknown is going to come out of the woodwork with a big win this year.

I never meet Jeff G. , easy,  ;) , a bunch of this wouldn't exist without his work.

Dave's been working hard pre fishing bass, maybe his year ?

Jeff is out in the Bush currently picking a Mushrooms.

The amount of time Shooter spends on that lake he has to be a contender. I think i would bet on either Adam Mckay, who placed well last year or Karen or Dave Poole, wouldn't count either out. But with horrible weather forecast could be any bodies game.

Yikes... there has to be consideration for delaying the derby if that forecast is anywhere close to right. That's insane.

Just sitting down to do my final report.  Might take a couple days to round up pictures and information for both sides of the border.  Here is the link to the final leaderboard standings combined CAN/USA.

I had to beg off for family reasons a couple of weeks ago, Brent. From what the weather was like where I was, if I had been able to go to the BCC I might have gone bowling or something.
