Border City Classic - Final Report
« on: July 01, 2014, 07:59:56 am »
The demo day on Sunday sucked the life out of me and I spent Monday recuperating and it was Julie's birthday so I tried to stay away from the computer and fishing.

Here is a short summary of the results;

I will post a full summary with pictures later this week directly on CKA and the other sponsoring forums.

Thanks to all that participated, the return participants that come back each year, and then have spread the word of the event, have helped the BCC grow to what it is today.

Here are the Participants that finished with 50 inches and over.  A lot of CKA members on this list.  Way to go.  Considering both Adam McKay and Dario Vera never fished Lake St. Clair and kept a simple plan all day, goes to show that anyone can win this event.

Wow, the difference in length in the over 50 is pretty tight…Kyle had a good lead and that would have been hard to catch but 2nd and 3rd were pretty close to a dozen or so guys just under….gonna have to work on a game plan for next year…Congrats again to Kyle…you earned the win!

My 17 1/4 incher was actually 17 1/2, and would have had 55".
I've never fished LSC too and didn't know you could use 2 rods in the lake.
Yup anyone could come in 2nd or 3rd.  ;)

I thought about the 2 rod thing, but was having difficulty even with one.

Should have entered 51.25 but only entered 48.75. Found my other bass pic before a couple of scenery shots. In the excitement of my first Lake St. Clair bass and didn't even put my wrist with the tourney identifier in the pic.

Still very happy with my showing.
