Haha. Oh yea I could have looked there. Mind is somewhat gone with the move right now. I don't know anyone in the Toronto area. If he was in Alberta or BC I could try to help on sourcing the Scotty gear. Anyone know the Toronto area that could help out?

I got them at The Fishin' Hole up here in Calgary.  The do ship and I believe they give you some type of rebate coupon for the same amount as the shipping cost for you to use on future purchases, so basically it's free shipping if you plan of making future purchases.  I also heard they're offering free shipping in Canada for the month of June.

I heard of a way to make custom foam things if you are still looking. You take spray foam and squirt it into a garbage bag. You can then shape it as it expands in the bag. Apparently you can peel the bag off after leaving you with a custom foam piece. If it really works that is...

Getting prepped to install my Lowrance Elite 5 HDI, just waiting for my Ram 1" screw ball & 1-1/2" screw ball for my mighty mounts/slide tracks and the Ram transducer arm. I installed a couple Hobie thru hull wiring kits.

Completed the install of my anchor trolley pulley system.

I did install something I didn't want to do but found it to be, in my opinion, necessary to have, 2 handles centered on the sides of my kayak.

Also touched up my anchor system by weaving 1ft of chain, anchor line thru the links, above my anchor with a plastic zip tie attaching the rope to the anchor incase I get it hung up on something.

Also touched up my rod holders on my crate with a little piece of bungee and a lashing hook to hold my rods in place just incase my boat flips.  Each rod holder has my version on a rod leash attached to each rod. I found WalkieWay retractables made for dogs, at the loonie store. I googled it while I was in the store and it's rated to hold upto a 34lb dog, 4ft length, so I think it'll be durable enough, plus they were only $2.00 each ... I took all 12!

Plus, got my Scotty Slip Discs installed!

That's about it for now.

Thanks, can't wait to try it out!  Went by a couple close lakes, they were still iced up :(. But it was nice enough out to get it on the lawn. :)

Tried heading out today, both lakes clearing up but way too much mud along the edges to launch.  Good news is my home made silient traction mat stayed on the 45 min drive doing between 110-130km/hr.  Didn't even peel up anywhere along the edges.

I have had my Silent Traction in my kayaks for over a year and the only stuff peeling up is the corner of a little piece I find myself picking at when waiting for a bite. Lol

Finally attempted to take my first maiden voyage on the Glenmore Reservoir early Mothers Day before brunch and experienced my first issue with my kayak ... I forgot the seat at home.
