Laregmouth Tips
« on: July 30, 2013, 07:29:08 am »
Heading for Maine tomorrow afternoon and bringing the kayak along to go after some Largemouth. We don't have Largemouth here in NB so this will be a real treat. Apparently there are lots of smallies, and white perch in the water I'll be fishing as well. If anyone has any tips or tricks to pass along about fishing largemouth in mid-summer feal free to speak up. My first plan is to hit the docks, weeds or points early morning with senkos, flukes, spinnerbaits, x-raps etc.  8)

Largies are a hoot to catch on top water baits.
Poppers like rebel Pop-Rs, storm Chug Bug etc or Strike King
Rage toads work well. The top water bite can end early if sunny,
and a bit of wind is okay.  :)
Snag or Fish? Weed or Fish? Oh,Fish-On !
