fall/winter fishing in BC
« on: November 10, 2008, 10:16:34 am »
Does the kayak fishing shut down at any point from fall to spring on the coast?
I would have thought it would be the premium time of year for yakfishing out there?
I'm asking because I never see posts of anyone running the rivers in search of steelies and salmon.  Is there a reason for that or is it just that no one does it out there?  It would be cool to jump in the boat and disappear down a river for a day or two into the wilderness in search of them.  What about all the inland lakes?  There's tons of them out there with rainbows and cutties, especially from the mid mainland to the coast.
