Some spots in the province have bait bans in effect. Some places allow magots only and some are wide open.

Oh, really. what part of the province were you thinking about? Are you transfering with work or looking for a new job and a fresh start. It's going to be a shock for momma, coming from the east which tends to be a little bit more liberal, and laid back, to Alberta which is a little bit more conservative and uptight (the way Andre the giant was a little bit bigger than most folks).  No HST though (if the gov. tried that shit here, there would be armed revolt) no PST either.
Cheers Rick

if she can take me, then im sure she can take most ppl in AB, and thats one of the reasons for me taking her up there next summer.
Ideally, close to home, but dunno if that`ll work out (Athabasca).
Id transfer with work, and we`d find employment for the wife.    It would be a fresh start with the same job.. I like NS, but I miss home.
