There are a few models of cameras with camera remotes. My next one will be one of these. and also another great addition to Xshot mounts are the cameras with HD video. The go pro is a good one. Richard had a nice one. I forget what it was called. But if you want a cheap one without a remote then get the Olympus stylus tough series 750 or greater. its a beater cam that gets the shot no matter what the condition. Id get one with a remote though.

I've been using the Pentax Optio W60 for about 3 years now (any picture I posted here has used it).  No real issues, sbut ound on video is poor (well it is the microphone picks up the internal focus mechansims clicking, so you have to disable autofocus for video).  Easy to carry, waterproof, 5X Optical zoom, I don't think I would ever get anything less.  I don't have an X-shot, so I do not know how it would work with that.

I've been using the waterproof Fuji for several months now, both with and without the X-shot, and it works just fine for me.  However, I'm not a photography buff and use it exclusively for snapshot type pictures.  There's no remote, which I think would be helpful in the yak, but for $200 it's all I want or need.
