Interesting vid all the gear and no idea springs to mind  ;D only joking.

I would suggest using an in line method feeder with a 6" hooklink to a size 10/12 hook.
The bollie should be hair rigged and should be WHITE and no larger in dia than 1 cent.

For the ground bait I would mix
Brown Crumb
Hemp seed (make sure this has been soak for 24hrs then boiled until the white seed appears)
Small trout pellets
sweetcorn dyed red
Sweetner (Maple syrup -Molasses - Lataose)

Add a little water at the bank side until it can be moulded around the feeder, when you have a ball the size of a tennis ball then your ready to cast, before casting press the hook bait in to the ball.

When you have made your cast to the chosen area tie some line around your line at the spool to act as a marker for your distance or take the spool off and put an elastic band on over the line. You need to build up a bed of ground bait so dont leave it out any loner than 30 mins before you recast, becuase you have the marker on the line you can cast to the same spot time and time again.

Nope. Tomorrow Night I will be heading out to that bay for carp and Garfish. When Daniel and I went in there last week I hooked into a garfish that was 48 inches or darn close. it was a massive female. I will fish carp a bit and then go garfishing. I wont forget to chuck the dog food in the area the carp are gulping air and tailing. haha. I will let you know dude. The first thing I thought of when I saw your swim feeder contraptions was S&M and Silence of the Lambs. haha
