Title: Zack V's Flathead ?
Post by: EagleEyesFlash on May 14, 2015, 08:55:48 am
Noticed Zack V posted a flathead catfish on KW.
Can someone confirm if Zack launched from Canadian soil
for this catch. If so it would be a grand entry for our registry !
Any more pics. also ? Also need his permission to use the kw pic.

Yes, he would have launched and caught it in Canada.

Just learnt last year that Windsor is at the tip of Flatheads northern
range.

Tim, next time you see Zack, just mention to him about the CKA registry and ask
for the okay to use pic. I'll also need the details, location ... Detroit river ? , bait ..worm?

tks.

Hey Brent take another look at the flathead, i believe  its just a channel catfish. It clearly has a forked tail on it, and flat doesnt . Flathead

Yes tail looks a little too forked to be a flathead.
The fish looks yellowish like a flathead though.

( And his "Bullheads" are definitely channel cats. )

Big channel cats WTG dude !

Couldn't agree more EEF those are definatlely channel cats. Almost positive bullsheads don't get that large.
